Johnny English Reborn (2011) - Review

Johnny English Reborn is a sequel of Rowan Atkinson's hilarious spy comedy of Johnny English in 2003. In this film Johnny English, an Mi-7 top spy vanishes from the world after he was forced to retire. While hiding in a remote area in Asia he finds himself in a monastery getting into all sorts of hilarious trouble. He tries to get his mind and body stronger. Johnny English is then suddenly called to return to work. For some reason he is the only 'spy' that can do this mission. There was going to be possible attack on the life of the prim minister of china.  Now that the world need him one again Johnny English is back in action, but this spy  can do very little well, however he knows no failure. The plot is complicated but hilarious funny.
The film is directed by Oliver Parker while Rowan Atkinson is Johnny English. It is 101 minutes long.

In my opinion this parody of James Bond is very funny and entertaining for all family. However the story is a repetition of the first one and there is nothing exiting about it. My rating about this movie is about 7/10.

The Karate kid (2010) - Review

The Karate Kid is a film full of action suitable for all the family. The story of the film is about Dre Parker, a 12 year old American boy from Detroit. Because of his mother’s job he ends up in China. He finds himself in totally different surroundings. He starts having problems  at school, however he manges to fall for his class mate Mei-Ying, who happens to like him too. This effection makes him the  target of Cheng the class bully, who also likes Mei-Ying. Cheng and his gang beat Dre up brutally. Dre has no one to help him us this strange country. He then finds help from the maintenance man Mr.Han, who is a master of Kung-fu. Mr.Han teaches Dre that Kung-fu is about maturity, keep calm and using your brains rather than punches. Facing the bullies becomes the most important fight in Dre’s life. He challenges Cheng for a Kung-fu tournament and ends up winning it.  The film is 140 minutes long, and it was filmed in location showing beautiful scenes of china. It is a remake of the original film back in 1984.
The Director is Harald Zwart. Jaden Smith (son of actor will Smith) plays the part of Dre. Jackie Chan is Mr.Han. He is a legend in martial arts

In my opinion the Karate Kid is a good movie especially for young audience. However certain scenes may be too violent for such an audience otherwise the acting is impeccable the story is good- tackling the raw spot of bullying at this day and age My rating about this movie is about 8/10
